It came from the code name for the next version of webOS. I can't wait until it's ready to install.

Honestly I don't like the direction they were heading with the webOS UI.. I much prefer the original over the 3.x UI and this takes it even farther. Different strokes tho, glad people are working on it for those that do like it.

Or iOS7, or Android.. But still inferior to webOS 1.x-2.x.

Now that the design is open sourced maybe it can some how be worked into WebOS-Ports OS as an option/ alternative to Luna Next? That'd be pretty cool if you could choose Mochi or Luna like how Android has different launchers like TouchWiz, Sense and stuff.

Has any developer had the chance to apply this to their app?

'Legacy' = old webOS (1.0 - 3.0.6) that is no longer officially developed. HP WebOS official website

Open webOS is the Open Source version. http://www.openwebosproject.org/

http://www.webos-ports.org are developing OpenwebOS for telephones and tablets (e.g. Galaxy Nexus & Nexus 7 tablet.)

And of course there is LG webOS for Televisions!

hmmm looks like there are problems at Internals & Ports sites. Too many connections? Unlikely... DDOS?

Sorry! This site is experiencing technical difficulties.

Try waiting a few minutes and reloading.

Hello everyone, (sorry I'm french and I use Google translation) I am creating a theme Mochi by testing it on a Pre3. The icons are almost complete, thereafter, I will change the appearance of the main applications. You can see the progress below:

    This looks amazing!

I hope it could be applied to the (core) apps.

    Great work!

    Looks very good!
I wanted to do the same and started with the theming of the phone/PIN app some weeks ago, but sadly had not much time to continue..
I'll try to finish it soon and maybe we end up with a complete theme sometime

It looks really nice, but I think the icons need to have a lighter shade

Really impressive (I follow the thread on WebOsFrance too)
I like the black and white colour theme, it's classy and reminds us about the early Palm screens.
Hope it's feasible in the menus of the apps too.

    Great job Jerem06; c'est Chic!

Indeed, Jerem06 is doing such an excellent job ! Is there other folks out there that could help him to go further in this project. A collaborative project would be awesome.

WebOS community is still here and that's amazing !

i know i'm in the minority here, but i really really dislike that whole thing. iOS 7 is uuuuglyyyyy to the max, and i think it's a good thing that we didn't get this hoisted upon is :-)
