    So I did the update this evening and the app catalog just comes up as a blank grey screen??
    Full reboot did not help.......

    Anyone else having an issue?

    It was working fine on my Pre 3, but on my TouchPad the update failed and now I have no working App Catalog (and the Software Manager already shows the new version - so I can't update again) - any hints what I can do?
    Pre³ (iPhone 4), TouchPad 32 GB (PlayBook 16 GB)

    I have something interesting as well.
    While downloading the AppCatalog, the download bar stops at the last centimeter and then a bent arrow sign (like "refresh") shows in the empty part of the bar.

    The Touchpad update went flawlessly for me.

    On my Pre3, it detected the update, downloaded it, but now has been stuck on "Installing..." for ages....

    ps: ok, another hangup by the WiFi radio or whatever. My touchpad does that frequently. After stopping and restarting WiFi, the download commenced ...

    Hmm... I got a "This action could not be completed" error.

    Now app catalogue is showing with a full download progress bar in the software manager (and also with full progress disc in the launcher), but clicking on it in the software manager gives me an error about needing to be logged into a palm profile.

    I'm going to reboot...

    Edit: After a reboot, all is well *phew*

    For stuck downloads use "Stop all downloads" and "Delete all stopped downloads" in Software-Manager the app-menu.

    Thanks to those who provided that link.....

    I ended up visiting the doctor, the phone was having some issues anyways.
    Updating after running doctor went perfectly fine.

    Yes, I have the same issue. Maybe the app catalog only shows up on webOS v2.2.4....(I blocked the latest update from 2.2.3 to 2.2.4)

    After using the url above, things didn't change. Seems that the App Catalog is installed ok, only the contents are dependent on either the latest version 2.2.4 or maybe some regions of the world haven't been thought of? (I'm in the Netherlands).

    I'm really not sure what happened on my end.

    I originally installed the update through software manager, the update never came across as a notification.

    After I doctored and logged into my profile, the little app catalog icon popped up in the notification area and I again did the update......this time it worked fine???

    If your device has been dormant - make sure the date and time are correct and try again.

    Seems to work best getting the Update through the App Catalog rather than via Software Manager.

    Well, I used the 'report a problem' button from inside Software Manager to send a message to HP...maybe somebody is still dealing with those.
    BTW, I also updated through Software Manager without any notification before that.

    Update 2: Okay, doctored the Pre and now all my customisations and all apps from Preware are gone.
    I've said farewell to my Palm phones and put them away... I hate phones anyway and will happily continue my life without them, be it HP/Palms or whatever brand. I'm clean now.

    After rebooting my TP a notification about completing the App Catalog Update was shown - now everything works fine.

    Hey guys I just updated the HP catalog on my pre 2 and everything went fine, no major issue just the first time when installing got stocked, powered cycle device and then the application shown as updated with only a gray screen, performed a data and app erase and then it allowed me to do it again and everything went fine the second time screen shots below for after the second try

    running a TP 16Gb with webOS 3.0.5 with the HP App Catalog 5.0.3400 and trying to update to 5.0.3500?

    the update fails (repeatedly after multiple restarts, and retries) with a 'Download Error.' Pressing 'Try Again' yields a box with 'Not Enough Storage to Download' (I've already deleted all off my USB drive?) Tapping 'Instructions' takes me to 'Help' (?) where it only says: 'Unable to Process Request - Sorry we were not able to process your request. Please try again' (???) Finally, the old app catalog becomes a blank page and initiates an attempt to access the internet which my ip provider isn't able to resolve into a real address. Finally to 'try again' requires a restart.

    Does anybody know what 'Help' can't seem to find? i.e. in how to release enough storage to enable this download? Kind of reluctant to try 'Erase Apps and Data' or 'Erase USB Drive' unless given some indication it would help.

    Update: followed John's advice, post 19, fixed the problem - the download worked.

    I try many times to work app catalog after updating but it still the same problem to stuck on cycle.
