I'm using KeepassW for password management because I have Keepass on my Laptop and Android phone, as well as on the Android side of my Touchpad. Because KeepassW needs an XML file in order to be populated/updated, I am wondering if I need to be concerned about shredding the file on the device like one would such a file on a computer. Just to be sure I plugged the Touchpad in and used Windows tools to shred the file. But is that necessary?

In general, anything on that FAT partition should be treated as it would on another computer. It may be on a device w/ a different OS but access to that file or partition makes that moot. If the XML contain private data deal w/ it accordingly.
