Well, almost. I have made the decision to finally get a Touchpad. I got a pretty decent tax return this year so I felt like buying myself something nice. I've been missing webOS. So when the money comes, I will be ordering one off of ebay.

Back in the summer of last year when HP took a crap on all of us, I made the decision to switch to Android for the time being since I knew my Pre 3 wasn't going to be happening anytime soon and I was offered a free phone. At the time, everyone on here started talking about the veer or the pre 3 or the Touchpad, which I didnt have any of them, so with nothing to put my two cents on, I moved onto another forum. I kept my Pre Plus and still to this day turn it on and keep everything updated. But I've been using Android ever since. I've been following all the news of webOS (even though there hasn't been much) and got really excited hearing that webOS was going open source. Finally, the webOS community will be able to take webOS and make it awesome again. Being on Android all this time, I have grown to like it. So when I heard about the Touchpad dual booting, that spiked my interest in getting a Touchpad. My logic behind purchasing the Touchpad (other than I really miss webOS) is that two open source operating systems will by existing together. When webOS IS officially fully open source, who knows what that will bring. All I know is that I want to be part of it and cant wait to get my Touchpad.

So other than the FUTURE of webOS and the Touchpad, is there anything I have missed? Anything I should look into for when I do get my Touchpad? I know there are probably a lot of new users on here that I have never had the pleasure of communicating with. So I look forward to being a part of this community again.

Thanks. Most of the Touchpads I've seen on ebay already have Android flashed to it so I may not get to experience the setup process. I've flashed different ROMs to my phone so if its anything like that, I should be good.

How about on the webOS side though? Any cool patches that came out for it?
