    Hi,

    I have the following problem/question:

    whenever I connect my Veer to my Windows 7 machine and choose the option "Just Charge" and I want to disconnect after having done my stuff, I cannot disconnect properly via the Windows routing because I get the dialogue:

    This device is currently in use. Close any programs or windows that might be using the device, and then try again
    I tried almost everyhting: I closed all application including my web browser, waited for 5 to 10 minutes etc. Nothing!

    I then disconnected the device by removing the USB cable/connection.

    Is this normal behavior when using the "Just charge" mode? I know that there are dangers with the disconnection of the USB Cable with HDDs because of potential data loss. Is this procedure also dangerous for the phone?

    How could I solve this problem?

    I get that too. It is always the novacom service that "is still using the device". I don't worry about it and unplug the USB anyway.

    If you are plugged into your machine and chose "just charge" instead of USB, then there's no reason to 'eject' the device - just unplug it.
