Is this a threat to WebOS mindshare on these features? Or one better?

    Let the conversation ensue...

Link does not work for me.

It does seem very similar. With Just Type, when you visit a supported website, you can add it to your list of web searches and launch to that website from JT. Looks like this app took care of looking for websites for you and presents you with a preselected list of websites when you want to search. Launching an app looks exactly like JT does, but I suspect it's due to how links are directed to a certain app, sort of like the way a Google Maps link will launch the Google Maps app in webOS.

It doesn't have stuff like quick actions and the very power application search, but it still is similar to some JT features, which makes me really irritated that they call this a "new model for mobile search" (but hey, this is CNN we're talking about).

Doesn't work for me, either. Wonder how these other folks got to it.

Irritation was my first reaction too. Not necessarily at this app developer or CNN, but at Palm (first) and HP (now) for doing such a poor job of touting the amazingly user friendly features of WebOS and letting other manufacturers catch up and claim to originate them (e.g., Blackberry Playbook card interface).
