    Hi, People!

Well, I was erasing one old Franken Pre minus Sprint-to-GSM to go back to owner when I has a "geniou's idea": go to Palm.com/profile and only remove the device from my profile. Until there, great. But...

... I has no time and I has a mistake, clicking and confirm in "Lost My Phone"!

And after, I clicked in "Remove From My Profile"!

So, I tried to login in my profile, and...

    ... nothing! "Login failed"!

So, I tried to create other profile and, finally...

    ... nothing! "Profile Login Failed"!

    So, redoctored the PrPrPr $and$ $continue$ $without$ $login$ $or$ $create$ $nothing$.

Ok, I use the bypass tools, but the problem continues, in 1.4.5 or 2.1.0.

So, I has a perfect idea: Impostah! Yes! With him, I'll gonna win, right? Of course...

    ... that not!

But the Impostah gave me a reply with interesting message:

So, someone has some idea about what is this? Use "Lost My Phone" can "lock" your device?

    Best Regards...

I think I would contact Palm (HP) on Chat and tell them your mistake.

I hope so, since this is what you want after loosing your phone.
You need to contact HPalm and convince them that you are the owner of the device to get it unlocked.

    Updating:

After two long chats with the H/Palm support, they "assured" that the HP don't lock the devices, but the problem continue.

Changing some informations with Impostah, the only diferent message that I received until now was "cannot confirm the e-mail", or something like this...

Well, I'll gonna try other situations here, but I'm praying to the serial number is not locked...

Murphy's law: This things HAVE to happen with device of other people? And I still have to explain what is happing to the owner...

    Updating Again:

I has tried changing the commboard from AT&T to EU network, and I recieved this message:

Changing some informations to fake in Impostah, I has received this other message:

Well, the problem continue, but I have other idea: I know that the devices with Bad Esn try to consult if can be activated or not, but can be solved... Somebody know if there is some way to make this setting in GSM devices, too?

I try do the same, but don't work in my GSM Pre...

    My way until now was: Sprint PrPrPr $CDMA$ =&$gt$; $Franken$ $Sprint$ $Pr$ /$GSM$ $By$ $AT$&$amp$;$T$ =&$gt$; $Franken$ $Sprint$ $Pr$ / $GSM$ $By$ $EU$.

PAMS3101 (invalid ROMToken build variant) means that your DMSETS value is not one that is known to the profile servers. Most likely you used REMOVE_CARRIER_CHECK instead of using the pre-canned meta-scripts which use CUSTOM_*_DMSET to set them correctly.

As for the PAMS3036 message, I have never seen that, and I expect it would be a server-side issue that only Palm could solve. I would recommend contacting Palm developer relations rather some random chat line person.

It's not exactly sure how this can happen.

Start a chat session with Palm Tech Support here to solve the issue:

They solved this issue for me during a chat support session.

    Rod:

I was able to log into a profile on 2.1 and am now doctoring back to 1.4.5 to see if I can log in as well. This support lady doesn't mind testing.

    Success on 1.4.5 as well.
I'm surprised that CSO people know about Impostah.

By default, Impostah uses the IMEI and Serial number on your device, so if they have changed in any way it's something that the user has changed, not something Impostah has done.

Interesting thread and I was wrong again. Damn.

Hi, all... I didn't forgotten you...

Well, four long sessions with the support and nothing.

The PAMS 3101 happened when I changed the commboard to EU with the Sprint logic board, but came back to PAMS3036 when I changed back to ATT commboard.

    And the problem continue... :x

Put in the EU commboards and install a 2.1 Meta-Doctor created with the meta-att-preplus script.
    Nothing... the same problem...

Well, the support told me to call and speak directly with the specialist/ advanced support...

I will PM you the ID of my chat session.
Thank you! I really have no idea to try solve this. The support in first level always say to reset the phone and try to login again...

any luck yet? i've had this problem (PAMS3036) for like 6 months... happened to me after upgrading to WebOS 2.1, then downgrading to 1.4.5 because couldn't access my profile (now i know the reason for that), then back to 2.1 again... and, yes... clicking on "Lost my phone" (I thought that could solve the issue... big mistake)

I'm in Mexico... and believe me, spanish language support is A LOT worse... i've even been denied of support because they saw my OS is 2.1 and, as Palm don't support it in Mexico, they couldn't help me anymore.

An argentine support guy even yelled at me! LOL xD (he was asking me to restart annd i told him i've called before and already restarted and made system check, so he yelled: "just do as i say! no more no less!")

So, consider yourselves in "heaven" (notice the "") if you can access to higher levels of support

Please if you have any progress, let us know.
