Was watching Private Practice, and it just came up all of a sudden, a full screen close up of PRE!

I can't imagine that any product placement is done for free. My guess is that HP's marketing firm is paying a lot of money for the exposure. I interpret that as a good indication that HP will stay in the phone business via Palm and will attempt to compete. Why would you pay for product placement for a product line you're not interested in?
I'm waiting patiently.

never was a fan of House. I like the actor, just not the 'know it all' attitude on most shows now-a-days.

You're right, a lot of shows with renaissance men with their little manierisms.
The Mentalist is similar in that respect, and basically all CSI shows.
Hell, even Dexter. It's all very Nabokovian.

Very briefly spotted palm pre at 4min mark. Alright! Love my oth hd no fee dvr & of course my 13th release day palm pre.

This was from the local CBS Chicago news the other night showing a reporter using the Sprint Pre as her choice of demo. They were doing a story about GPS security of phones, and telling people to turn off GeoTagging of pictures after many girls where contacted and threatened by strangers who looked up the GPS data of pictures they had posted on sites like Facebook.

Good choice of phones to show though

I was watching The Whole Truth when I saw one of the attorneys pull out a Palm Pre.. couldn't tell if it was a Pre + or not.. but it was there. Is it me, or are the sightings become more frequent?

They seem to be more frequnt. Can't help but wonder if it is just random or HP/Palm paying for air time so the new Pre (which may look like current Pre) will have a, "so that's the phone they are using" to people who are unaware of webOS?
