    is anybody else gettin this message while trying to connect to quick install to install new software?

    Nope.. Maybe there is a new software update available. If you have the option to update then.. Update. :-D

    Go into control panel and uninstall novacomd. Then open webos quick install and go to File, Options. Then click on "attempt to (re)install Novacomd. It should do the full installation, and it should recognize your phone
