Anytime a device would connect to my Mobile Hotspot, it would play this awesome sound that sounded like jingly bells (I know, that's the worst description ever).

Ever since I got my replacement Pre+, it no longer plays that tone.

If anyone can help, please do! I need ot hear that sound again lol

jingly bells? haven't a clue what you are talking about. did it play the same sound for all system notifications or just that one?

Is it Flurry (Short) or Vibes (Short) or Triangle (Short)?

I believe that's the old notification sound. I used File Coaster to download these two links to get the old Notification and Alert Sounds.

If you have the "Select Alert and Notification Tones" patch you can then change either of those tones.
I don't understand the purpose of the line, I don't need to drink to have fun. Great, no one does. But why start a fire with flint and sticks when they've invented the lighter?

Let's all give thanks to the app that started it all.

Like I mentioned before...the tone was different and has now changed back to standard tones.

    I think it's a systemsound:
    /usr/share/systemsounds/sysmgr_alert.pcm

Ugh. Can't even convert the file to WAV to see if it's the right file. Thanks though!
