Just wanted someone to know that in the call log when I use the drop down to see call threads and contact information, stored phone #s with ttts for pauses don't work from this screen. The same phone #s work fine from either the universal search or the actual contacts page.

I'm confused? Are you talking about extended digits such as passcode for a conf call or voicemail log in?

I'm trying to understand the scenario...

I just called my conf call bridge and it shows up correctly in my call log...

Are you saying that when you call a number from your call history that has pauses stored in them it doesn't work? I currently don't have access to a number to do some testing at the moment, but want to clarify.

OK, I have duplicated this. Where do you want the screen shot?

BTW, I couldn't find anything in the user guide that explained how to do extended digits (term used for doing this with PalmOS). These are numbers that were already in my contact list from my Centro.

I would call this a bug because it is just ignoring the extended characters. I am trying to think of a way to test it on a number shorter than 10 digits to see if is dropping anything after 10 digits, or if it's dropping non-numeric characters even of less than 10 digits have been dialed...

All feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. I definitely thank Cantaffordit for his assistance, but the more data we have with this the more we can figure out what is the actual true nature of the "bug."

    Hey, more data... maybe

I just created a contact with 6 digits, and characters, followed by the remaining 4 digits. The phone call didn't go through (I guess I should have expected that) but then in the call log it only shows th 6 characters... so it is clearly dropping any non-numeric characters and any numbers after those characters...
