I opened my web app yesterday and there were no bookmarks.. just a blank blue background.
I can still type in a URL, and the pages open fine. But when I want to save the page as a bookmark, it doesn't do anything..

Also, it looks like it doesn't keep history, as it doesn't suggest URLs when I type in common URLs that have been open before... It does remember passwords, but I don't think it remembers cookies..

    Suggestions?
    Ideas?

    Thanks in advance..

I restarted the phone, and the only changes I made to the phone were a couple of home brew apps that have nothing to do with the web. But just in case I delete those already..

i would run the repair utility on your phone then . believe it or not one of the homebrew apps could have done this , but theres no telling.

Where do I find this repair utility? Will I have to re-configure the phone after? reinstall all apps?

no you will not have to do all that . The only thing you will need to do is reinstall homebrew apps and patches . But that's only if you check the override compatibility .

Thanks, but the repair util didn't work. The phone I use(ed) is an older hardware version, which is different from the ATT production phone. I had to switch phones to a production version..

when you start it . It asks you which wed doc you want to use then if you don't have the right one it asks if you would like to download the right one . Then you just double click on it and run it . All the utility does is compare all files the the web doctor and replace any it sees corrupted or missing .

Im using the right doc 1.4.2, same as the version of the OS running. my phone is an older hardware (Revision D) and the repair util had a problem with it. the log the util creates says:

    Loading WebOSDoctor...
    WebOSDoctor found at C:\Users\xxxxxxx\Desktop\WebOS\webOSDoctor.jar
    Loading connected device's build info:
    Device: <unknown>
    Version: 1.4.2
Loading webOSDoctor to check ROM build info
    ...loaded!
    webOSDoctor for: <unknown>
    webOSDoctor of: <unknown>
    Build/Version mismatch

I finally switch to a production phone (which is ATT locked), and all works fine..
