With a few tweaks it's really not too bad to edit a document. Moves along quite nicely with little lag (on a 500mhz Pre). I'm going to post some videos tomorrow for anyone whos curious to see.
Just out of curiosity, have you tried Abiword or Gnumeric? I'd think that lag would be even less of an issue with more lightweight apps such as those two.

I would really like to see some form of document editing on board. Last week I posted a small survey on twitter and document editing was the biggest single requested application (posted below).

    Go Palm!

Well, we do have a commanding lead, but the hebrew language idea has gained 20 votes today. It will be interesting to see if they will try to organize a comeback in the coming days.

Last week, my open letter to Data sisn't catch on for a few days until Robert put it up on the blog. If that happens, we'll blow the numbers throug the roof, but if not, we'll jus keep bringing it up. It'll all work out in the end.

What I don't get, is why doesn't Palm just front some money to a company like DataViz or QuickOffice. Like give them $100k up front and say 'develop this app' and you can still sell it and make more money. This would benefit both companies really.
