We need to get all the people voting in March Madness contests to get on this and vote for this app to get to webos. We have over 10K votes in almost each of the matches, this needs to translate into something that can benefit our community. This will not only help those who want an app like this but help us all because these are the types of apps that bring new customers to webos.

@Dieter can we get this on the front page. Thanks

yeah, try thinkfree. I forgot what my email/password is or I'd try it!

but wouldn't it be the same as using goggle docs? a lot of people don't like to leave documents that may be confidential up in the cloud, but instead would like to save it on their pre and transfer to their pc privately

yes, privacy is a concern, but it's nice for people to know that they do have options. Also, webOS is a cloudOS

Thinkfree is java based and might work straight out of our webbrowsers..

Yeah, the mid edition looks promising. I've not seen this before. I will look into it further...

we are at a 188 count, lets keep them coming guys, we need this
  13.    #33
    Up to 188...

    Keep the dream alive!!! =)

I took us to 198. If your reading this. Take the 30 seconds it will take and get us to 200 and beyond!

I voted and used all my votes. A text editor is the most important thing that the Palm Pre is missing. Everybody needs to vote.

Awesome! Maemo is at 260 and we are currently at 208. That is a difference of 52 so once 11 more people register and use their 5 votes each then hopefully we will take the lead!
It really is VERY quick and easy and could help rectify one of the biggest deficiencies that webos currently has!

DataViz doesn't give two ****s about WebOS. That's pretty obvious by their continual disregard for it.

Well, they have an Android and a MID version. Both look promising. My take on their website is that they _only_ develop in conjunction with manufacturers. Hmmm... That might require involvement from Palm, so we'll see.

I put in a request for information on this form. You may consider doing the same.

You could post on Palm's website and tell them to get a partner to develop a doc editing app.
