so i have the 600 mhz patch installed. i know that needs to be removed prior to installing the 800 (sh /var/home/root/600MHz_OSIndependentpatch.sh uninstall)....my question is this, by running the uninstall command will that remove the .sh file from within /var/home/root? or will the file remain but just not be utilized?

if this fries your phone (as overclocking has known to occasionally do) would that be covered under TEP and is there anyway they would know? So basically how risky is this?

ok i'm a bit confused here. The 600Mhz patch was said to be dangerous as it bricked some Pre's and was speculated that the life of the phone would be reduced. Now going to 800mhz.. will it get worse? Although i'll admit my phone ran great at 600 but will it overheat at 800?

it will over heat at 500 mhz if your not careful caj2008 fried his with stock speed because of heat . No one has fried their phone with these patches. As of right now. You do need to watch out for overheating though.

There is no way to have an icon at the top of the Pre with a temp is there?
