    Hi,

the palm pre keyboard has a "backspace" key. What I am missing it a "delete" key. Often I find myself placing the cursor just left of the letter(s) I want to delete thus having to move the cursor using orange+tap which is kinda tricky...

Obviously I can't just (physically) add a new key. But one of my older laptops (also missing a physical delete-key) had the ability to simulate the behaviour of a delete-key by pressing shift+backspace. Do we have something similar in webOS? Or can someone make a patch that adds this behaviour to webOS? (What sub-forum should I post such a patch-request anyway?)

    Thanks in advance,
    Quota

    No, that's CUT.

Shift + Delete on webOS deletes the entire word, which I use frequently, but is not what you're asking for.

Option (Orange) + Delete would be an ideal candidate, but as yet does not exist.
