I was downloading an update for an app I have from the app store and the indicator is now stuck on "Installing..." When I check the version of the app in my launcher, it's still the old one. What should I do?

i may have a theory on this one, it may not be right tho lol. i tried to update an app that went paid even though i didn't know it. It never (to this day) let me update it to the newer version because i've never bought it. Is the app you're trying to update a newly minted "paid" app?

is it a 3d game ? I wolud just do a full shutdown and restart and then try to update again. But when you go to update go to app catalog and tap the little bag icon on the bottom then update from there instead of from the update app. Hope this helps!

I had this happen and I found that the auto garbage collect on JStop caused it for me. Turned it off while installing and no problem. Turned t back on afterward

I have the same problem. I doctored my Pre with 1.2.1 so that it would be like factory new. Then performed the 1.4 update. Everything works great, but I'm trying to install Net2Streams Lite from the App Catalog and it hangs on "Installing..." I do get a notification stating that the application installed but the browser page continues to display "Installing..." on the status bar. I do see the icon for the app on my launcher but it's faded and has a blue circle on it. I've tried clearing my catch on my browser, as well as running Emergency Migration Helper (I've read that had worked) to no avail. Any other suggestions?

the only other fix (what I had to do) is a partial erase which will delete all apps and patches . Your app catalog apps will reload themselves but homebrew apps and patches will have to be done yourself. But in preware there is a function called "save package list" that you can click on that will save a list on your hard drive portion of phone I believe. So you know exactly what patches and apps you had from preware.
