yeh, html5 is good, but the app base already established for flash, and flash cs5 app export capabilities, I think adobe will have alot to offer the mobile application ecosystem....and flash is the first integral step on their roadmap to longevity!

    PS I said H2 2010

Adobe is lightyears ahead of HTML5 when it comes to how many people/websites use it.

I'm going to guess Flash comes to the Pre in Q3 2010.

I'm just saying as far as what I can see now on my phone. I can view HTML5 websites now from my Pre which feel something like flash. Don't get me wrong, Flash is the standard, but what do they have for us today is what i'm saying. BTW, I said May/June based on reading this thread http://forums.precentral.net/palm-pr...ml#post2380014

The next update at the end of this month, so may/june for me. Have you seen the videos of Adobe on the pre, looks like they have done a really great job of it, I am for one excited.

I think saying it's "further along than Adobe" only makes sense if you mean, further along in being used on Apple products.

So where does HP/Palm stand with Adobe Flash and WebOS? I'm reading one article (Network World .com) that says Apple AND Microsoft are now both moving away from it to instead support HTML5 and the H.264 video compression standard. Which will we get support for first?
  18. #138
We already have support for HTML5
