    Only having the ability to show off with the first phone to have flash is a compelling reason

    Hell yeah.
    Palm Vx -> Treo 600 -> Treo 700p -> Centro -> Pre (Launch Phone 06/06/09) -> AT&T Pre Plus with Sprint EVDO swap -> Samsung Epic 4G w/ Froyo

    I don't know... I'd say more like people clinging to windows XP and not moving forward, than it is feeding "the beast."

    It's well known that Flash on Linux stinks. lol

    I watched the video you linked, flea, and the device seems to chug a little at some parts, but not much worse than if you have 4 cards open at 1 time.

    Evaluate what you just said given the context of this thread.

    Count me in on installing Flash. How can you not at least try it out.

    Funny!

    But also consider the optimization that Adobe said they put into 10.1. I would think that their interests to have their content on a wider user base (mobile devices, including Android which is linux-based) would back up their claim.

    Pointless poll is pointless.

    This. Adobe don't care if Flash works the best on Ubuntu because they have more stake in Windows and Mac. They need mobile Flash to succeed on these mobile devices.

    Haha! 168 yes, 1 no. I guess there's still an old die-hard out there browsing this forum through Links on his Solaris box!
    Treo 300 > Hitachi G1000 > PPC-6700 > PPC-6800 (Mogul) > PPC-6850 (Touch Pro) > Palm Pre & HTC EVO Optimus V

    Speaking of FLASH, is anyone else having the issue of it not staying installed on their PC???

    I was prompted to update and it just wont stick? I did some searching at other forum-type sites and others are having the issue too.. .

    Wow yeah... 191-1.
    Who put No?
    I hope they know that it won't negatively affect their browsing unless they actually double tap the flash block.
