I read this on another forum site for the pre.

Would it be possible to have an app for the pre which acts as an emulator that would be able to run iphone/ipod touch apps? I understand it wouldn't officially come from palm, but maybe some geniuses not associated with palm. Theres alot of cracked iphone/ipod touch apps available on the web, which you could download and add through USB and run it off the emulator on the pre.

This would give the palm pre the success of the apple app store.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this.

    Impossible/not worth the effort.

Someone you'd have to run compiled objective-c in javascript. That sounds like my worst nightmare.

Apple throws a fit when Palm tries to sync with iTunes, I think they would have an aneurysm if Palm tried to steal their apps too.
An Iphone walks into a bar with a Palm Pre on it's shoulder. The bartender looks up and says, "Hey, that's pretty cool, where can I get one of those?" and the Palm Pre says "Hipstertown, they're all over the place"
