The pixi has been reviewed and it was shown to have yahoo, linkedin, facebook, text forwarding, maybe snappier, and groundwork laid out for flash.

Do you guys think there will be more in 1.3.1 or changes when the pixi is released?

From here: Palm Pixi Review - page2 (Phone Arena Reviews)
Pixi is the second device to feature webOS, and for the most part it is unchanged. Our unit is running 1.3.1, but there have been several software updates in the past few days so we can’t say that will be the final launch version. Palm has been very responsive with software updates, and this appears to continue with the Pixi. Whatever version it launches with, we expect it to be available for the Pre at the same time.

    So he's saying they're updating his 1.3.1 to a newer 1.3.1? or maybe he's just talking about 1.2.9 > 1.3.1?

The review units have come shipped with 1.2.9 and were immediately able to be upgraded to 1.3.1. It's entirely possible there will be more updates put out before the 15th when it is launched. No one knows but Palm.
