If developers are getting early access to WebOS updates, where are the previews of what's coming?

They aren't going to say anything. I'm sure there is a NDA.

I don't have an early preview myself, but I'm sure that people who got it want to maintain a good relationship with Palm for getting future versions early, so that's why they're not leaking it.

Is it too much to ask when the estimated release date is?

The rumored release is Nov. 15th. Not because of the Early Release Program, but because many assume that the Pixi will entice Palm to release an update.

Just because people have access to the future version of WebOS, doesn't mean they have access to the release time table. Even if they did, they signed a legal document assuring that they would not comment before the information was made public.
Your Pre wants Word Whirl from the App Catalog.

    It told me.
