    I need the Treo.mp3 one louder, for sure. You'd be my best friend forever.

    It's weird, but it works...

    Let's say you want it 5 db louder.

    First, Amplify -5 db.

    And the Amplify +5 db.

    Lastly, hit CMD+R to repeat the amplification and circumvent whatever silly limit is programmed in.

    Personally I like Cool Edit Pro for trimming/editing my mp3 ringers.

    Cool Edit Pro? What is this, 2002? Adobe bought the program, and changed the name to Audition six years ago.

    That said, I do agree with you; CEP was a great program. Audition is even better. I do all my recording, editing, and soundtrack work on it.

    ooh it worked!!! I increased it a hair and then I kept hitting repeat amplify til I was deaf!
