    #Am I the only one that hates them? Anyone else trying to figure out how to
    turn them off? Halp.

    Turns out the directory for emoticons is in /usr/palm/emoticons so you just delete the directory/ the icons you don't want and they're gone. You can also change the icons to other .png's.

    Id like to have a preference to disable them as well.

    I really dislike the emoticons that were chosen. There should be an option to disable them or select a different set.

    Root your pre, ssh/sftp in and do whatever.
