Has anyone heard anything about palm supporting video formats other than mp4? I find it quite frustrating that I cannot view a "normal" mpeg encoded video on the pre.

    Thanks,

Have you read of any discussions among homebrewers that might increase the formats?

Have not heard anything about this. Not sure if it's in the Pre's future, at least not until October when flash will be available for the Pre.

I have a couple hundred gig of video i'd love to watch on the go, but it's all odd formats. I hope they release (or someone does) a much more capable video playback, or an orb application that works better.
