I've noticed that a lot of developers are naming their apps "Pre (name of app)" and I'm wondering how future-proof that is. Shouldn't they be named more in line with the webOS rather than its first device?

In all likelihood those that do name theirs using the pre name in their app will name change their app down the road when webOS widens to other devices. But I agree and personally will be naming anything I code in line with keeping in mind that webOS will be on future devices as well.
