Ya, I've tried searching around, and I'm not sure if I"m using the right words or looking in the right places.

However when the apps are running, is there a way to just show the home screen without having the focus on a app? So pretty much hide all running applications?

Oh and I have another question for MediaMonkey, how do I copy playlists? It's not transfering over, all my songs are over, just not my playlist.

No way as of yet to return to just the home screen and leave apps open. Not sure on your second question.

I just found it on google actually. Apparently the Pre only reads the iTunes XML playlists and not the PC standard M3U or WML (Windows Media Playlist). I feel that seeing that iTunes is "not required" (says Palm) and that you can use other applications to manage your media (says Palm again), that I feel Palm has dropped the ball on this one. I really like to have Playlists, but don't want to go to iTunes to have it. So I'll just wait for the updates I guess.

Unfortunately I'm at work so I can't test this out, but I would think Mediamonkey would let you convert the playlists to xml/itunes-style instead of normal m3u lists. Try searching google for "mediamonkey xml playlist". One of the first results is how to export the entire library to an xml file for itunes which might be a good start at least

I know how you feel, man. As far as I know there's no way to hide the porn you're surfing on your Pre.

My guess is they didn't put the ability to hide them in because the home screen really doesn't have any functionality you'd need to get at (ie, icons on it, etc).
