I'm sorry if this is in the wrong category for the forum, not sure exactly where this would fall under. I'm tying to follow the Random Wallpaper Switcher ( h t t p : / / predev. wikidot . com/random-wallpaper-switching ) Random Wallpaper Switching post at the pre dev wiki but i cannot get the script to execute. I'm about to leave for work so i was just hoping i might be able to fix it by the time i got home. When i try to execute the script i get:

    *******@castle:/$ sudo /opt/share/wallswitcher/wallswitcher.sh
/opt/share/wallswitcher/wallswitcher.sh: eval: line 2: target:: not found
/opt/share/wallswitcher/wallswitcher.sh: eval: line 3: wallpaper:: not found
    Found 0 in /media/internal/wallpapers/
    Using random file:
    JSON Import String:
    JSON Set String:
    luna-send uri message
    -h this help screen
-P send over the public bus (send over private bus is default)
    -s send a signal
    -d turn debug logging on
    -i turn on interactive mode
-t x average over x times getting one response
-n x exit interactive mode after the x replies
    luna-send uri message
    -h this help screen
-P send over the public bus (send over private bus is default)
    -s send a signal
    -d turn debug logging on
    -i turn on interactive mode

-n x exit interactive mode after the x replies
    *******@castle:/$
I tried search & no results turned up. Any help would be appreciated.

I do have wallpapers in the directory too, ~120 of them so i'm not sure why it isn't detecting them.

    ~Thanks in advance.

The WebOS Development Forum probably has more posters who know this stuff.

Is the capitalization of the file names correct? Do you need to specify a path?

Yes, the capitalization is correct & the path is given in the script & i have have checked the directory to make sure they're in there. I keep getting closer & closer to getting this to work. Since i posted last i made all the wallpapers lowercase & have no spaces & when i run the script it will change, i just can't get it to work with cron (to rotate it every hour).

have you tried to restart cron? I had to kill it and start it back up before it would reread the cron file.

Yeah, I restarted my phone & got it working. Thanks for your help!
