    how do you do it on a PRE?
    Sony n710 --> N760 --> NX70 ---> NZ90 ---> 4get sony ---> Treo 600 -- and two weeks later--> (Feb 05)Treo650 .... (March '08) Centro... Palm Pre (launch date)

    Just add a call (bottom right). After both calls are up, hit the blue merge arrow to conference them together.

    The really annoying thing is you must end the whole call if you want to drop a party. You can not simply drop one party.

    They have that in the iphone wherein you don't even need to drop a single call -- just hit the "private" button and you can talk to that party in private and then even go back to the conference call OR you could drop off one of the parties and continue the call with the remaining person.
    It's so backward that the pre doesn't have it.

    It's not a Pre limitation as I understand it, but rather a CDMA one.
