With my Treo I could enter extra characters to be "played" following the phone number. For example, a comma would provide a 2 second delay. Handy feature to check for voice mail at work where mailbox numbers and passwords need to be entered. I see nothing like this on my Pre...anyone figured it out?

Putting a p in the number (e.g. 023049p890) gives you a pause while a t in place of a p gives you a timed pause. I do not know if one can set the time on the timed pause, but maybe this will help.

Thanks for the help. I had no luck with the "p", but the "t" seemed to do the trick. It appears that a single t will cause a 2 second pause. You can string them together if you need more than 2 seconds. Thanks again.
