Now that we've got the WebKit browser, us Palm users can start taking advantage of the proliferation of "iPhone" formatted websites that every company seems to be doing.

If you don't know, they're just mobile versions of websites, but unlike the usual mobile/WAP version, they're all nicely formatted for the iPhone/Pre screen and have nice large buttons and Web 2.0 styling.

Some good ones like the ESPN site are built in as default bookmarks on the Pre. Some other ones I've come across are:

m.digg.com (News/bookmarking)
bankofamerica.mobi (Banking)
iphone.ebay.com (Online auction site)
m.flickr.com (Photo sharing/galleries)

Got any other good ones?

only useful in the Seattle area, but this is a very nice real-time bus tracker.

METRO Bus Tracker

Anyone know of something similar for cabs?

Does anyone else have a problem with these mobile sites coming up in the browser like they would on a desktop browser? They're showing the content up in the top left hand corner really small. It's not rendering it as a mobile page. I don't see an option anywhere to show view it in a mobile mode as opposed to a full browser.

WOW! Thanks for this, I was wondering how to do RSS feeds on the Pre. Very well is the Google UI.
