Will we finally get more than 16 categories for PIM apps with WebOS?

That was a limitation of Palm OS - why would it apply here?

I'm not taking that for granted.

Would also like multiple categories possible for each PIM entry.

It's been ages since I've used a Palm OS device - you can't do that? Wow...

Those aren't the dark ages - Palm has started from the ground up.

I can on my PalmOS device. I use KeySuite from Chapura. Supports all the same PIM functionality as Outlook and syncs perfectly with mutliple instances of it (no exchange server required).

But you can't do it natively?

Given that Palm has said that all local data on the Pre is stored in a relational database, there's should be no inherent limit to the number of categories, nor to having more than one category per contact. And since Palm users have been complaining about the 16 category limit for years, it seems unlikely Plam hasn't dealt with that issue.

True, but I am not sure I care. How many Smartphones have PIM software that syncs perfectly to Outlook. I think even WM's pocket outlook sometimes has issues.
