I assumed it was modified to work with Win 10 - is that the case or is it the same file available (with HOSTS mod) at:
    Code:
    http://cdn.downloads.palm.com/sdkdownloads/3.0.5.676/sdkBinaries/HP_webOS_SDK-Win-3.0.5-676-x64.exe
I'd like to know because I will probably eventually have to 'upgrade' to Windows 10...
    -Thanks

It's probably the same. I don't see why you can't install it in compatibility mode in win10. I upgraded to win10 a while ago and my install hasn't stopped working.

Hi Aressel and anybody else looking to download this stuff from the HP servers,
All of the above are still available as of Dec. 2, 2015!
I realized that some folks were going to the trouble of modifying their HOSTS files and still couldn't use the OP links because of HTTPS. I have converted HTTPS to HTTP so now they should work as long as HOSTS has been modified.
    http://forums.webosnation.com/webos-...ml#post3441919
I also added the download size that Firefox on Windows reports so that folks can know if the file they got from somewhere else is complete or not.
If Aressel or a moderator wants to 'fix' the original post like this that might save some folks some grief.
-Still downloading on the cusp of 2016!
    ... and now in 2017!!!

I'm about to upload all of these files to my Box account and link to an article from pivotCE probably later tonight. That way in the event they DO pull these down there will still be a way to get them all. I'm SO curious what's in this folder though! http://cdn.downloads.palm.com/

Does someone know how to add the WebOS plugin for Eclipse? Since the servers are down, I can't use the link
    https://cdn.downloads.palm.com/sdkdo...-site/site.xml

I'm using OS X, so I can't actually modify the Hosts File. I downloaded the 3.0.5 SDK provided by some users in this thread, but I don't know how to start developing apps in Eclipse.

Sure. First you'll have to do it manually so youll need to download the plugin. Once downloaded unzip it and you should get a folder "Eclipse_Update_Site-636" place that inside your eclipse install folder.

Next: From within Eclipse click on help->install new software.
In that dialog that opens in the upper right side click on add and "add repository" dialog opens.
In the that dialog click on "local" and then browser to the "Eclipse_Update_Site-636" folder you unzipped earlier. click OK.
You should now have a "Palm something or other" item in the ListView. select its checkbox and then click through the next's and eclipse will update. You will probably have to restart eclipse afterwards youll be able to create a 'webOS Perspective' and you should have a new toolbar button for a 'New mojo application".

From there id suggest a ton of other things (like setting up custom external tools such as the emulator and packaging either via palm-package or the ipk packager file) and snippets etc..

It is possible to modify hosts on Mac, here's a recent article: https://www.imore.com/how-edit-your-...you-would-want
    When hosts has
    Code:
    23.4.17.24	cdn.downloads.palm.com
your link will work if you drop the https to http:
    http://cdn.downloads.palm.com/sdkdow...-site/site.xml
The full hosts mod I use for webOS stuff is:
    Code:
    23.4.17.24 cdn.downloads.palm.com
    195.22.200.42 downloads.help.palm.com
    140.211.169.161 ipkg.preware.org
    15.217.96.16 help.palm.com
    -hope that helps!

Thank you very much. I had been searching for it for a long time. And thank you @bbito too, you guys are very nice.
I actually just purchased a Palm Pixi Plus, since the original I had was stolen back in 2012, 5 years later, and just a few months before TCL (supposedly) brings out new Palm devices, I wanna get on the road again. So I think I'll be very active in the forum.
