I'm using debian sid (unstable) and i used novacom on my old touchpad 16gb just fine (several months ago).

today i'm trying to use it on my touchpad 32gb and, at first i was getting USB issues, lots of message on the error log, which led me to several other threads telling me about libusb versions.

now i have debian correct libusb-0.1.so.4.4.4 copied to the novacom path (why it wasn't used before since it was neatly in /usr/lib? anyway)

here's a sample session (with the touchpad connected in 'huge usb icon mode')
    Code:
    (0) /opt/Palm/novacom
    hobo# l

update, tried to compile from source both versions of novacomd from github... official one gives me same errors. jdieter's one is eternally silent, and all novacom/novaterm commands simply timeout...

i just gave up, picked up my work laptop with windows 7, re-installed webos doctor (it had one installed from that long time ago, and only had drivers for the webos dev mode, none for bootie, reinstalled fixed it) and installed ACMEinstaller from there.
