Ubuntu and Android on HP Tablet? Concerns?

I am very curious to know how many people might have tried installing the first alpha release of Android on an HP Touchpad with Ubuntu or Debian also installed (with their own separate partitioned space), or even have all three systems installed, and what the results were?

I found the thread where someone had a try and was having issues due to the alpha nature of Android, but early (booting/OS) bugs aside, how stable would the solution be? (i.e. for when Android is a few months down the line). Are the Ubuntu and Debian installs quite stable and reliable?
