I wanted one of these: http//new.orb.com/en/orb-tv/features.html
Plays video from phone to tv over wifi.

    I said this:

    Hello,

I want to buy your orb TV thing, the one for $99. But I see no support for palm (now hp) webos operating system. Does Orb not plan on supporting it?

PS. I dont like android or iphone, please dont suggest I get one of those.

    and they said this:

Yes, we plan to support WebOS. We don't yet have a scheduled introduction.

That's promising. I tried to get their web service working with webOS a while back and actually got it to play one video before it promptly died and never worked again.

Keep us updated if you have any more contact with them.

OK. I told them a lot of us are asking for it.

Orb works if you have flash support in your Pre. Pretty well too. I'm using it with the PC-based streaming server..don't know if it will work their hardware solution.

A native client would be much nicer though.

Makes me wonder of they are timing their support for the new hardware.

They're more than likely waiting for Enyo with hybrid capability so they can port over their current native code. As of right now there isn't a solution to use native code on webOS outside of gaming.
