Default HP WebOS 2.1 Camera API?

So now that webOS 2.1 SDK is officially out and not under NDA, whats the news about a camera API? Where can I find that information at? I want to be able to open the camera within my app and take pictures.

Look for the MediaCapture API under the Javascript libraries. It should do what you want.

Is there a way to initiate the mediacapture via a Luna-Send? I just want a simple command line run script to grab a picture
