    If this is the wrong place to ask, feel free to move this thread. I just thought that I'd get the best answer here.

    Would it be possible to boot the installation ISO of an OS from my Pre in USB mode? Similar to how you can run a LiveCD/Install from a USB stick. I've tried with less than successful results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Really? doesn't it work? I've never tried it, but my guess is that it should. I guess I'll try to do it, what are you using to create the live usb?

    I remember someone talking about this a while ago. They needed to do something special to the Pre's USB partition... I'm pretty sure they got it working.

    I don't remember the thread title or anything like that though...

    It's been a while since I've tried, but I used unetboot at the time.
