    Neat concept. Had a old Motorola that had this feature... I think it was a StarTac

    Anyway, I don't know enough about the launcher to know if we can bootstrap something as it's starting and check to see if it's on the "restricted" apps list then launch or prompt.

    while I'm not sure, i don't believe there is an API for that, so it'd be a homebrew only kinda thing.

    Would be spiffy though!

    I was looking into making something like this, but without the reach that the official app catalog would bring, I figured there's no real point.

    This is in particular since even with HB, you can't disable the app from being found through Universal Search/Just Type.

    You can HIDE the app in webOS and people wouldn't even know its on there. Of course there are ways to access it like universal search mentioned above. But the person would have to know where to look.
