i used it today and it worked perfect. the only thing i noticed is that for some reason i didn't get any calls or text while tethered. is that normal? someone said they called me but my phone didn't even ring nor did it show up in missed calls. then i got texts from people saying hello? bc i had somehow gotten several texts w/out notifications.

I use to have this working and tired re-installing it again and that installation works fine, but for some reason the MHS doesn't allow me to toggle it from Off to On. Anyone seen this before and/or know what the problem is?

Would this app work with WebOS 1.4.5? Or is this no longer possible. I don't want to tether for long periods of time, I just want to be able to use the Hotspot app, or something like it, to connect the Wifi of my Palm Pre to my iPod Touch from time-to-time. So I can download updates more easily.

OK, I have Sprint, and have received an update notification, but can't update via the App Catalog. Anyone know how to update?

Does FreeTether also turn the Pre into a mobile hotspot?

That is exactly what it is. Plus it allows you to tether your pre/pre+ to your computer or other device via bluetooth, usb or wifi.
check out the wiki link in the op of the freetether thread. |
