The only "reset" I see in the Phone App preferences menu is "Reset Voicemail Count".

I would assume that this resets the voicemail count... but I could be wrong.

Are you refering to a different preferences screen?

The best I can find is that it's something a Sprint tech might have to try if you're phone is not finding the Sprint network properly.

It seems also that you might need the MSL to use the reset. Though again, I'm not testing it on my phone.

It is a true hard reset, MSL is needed and it wipes everything on the phone.
