Has there been any sign of fatigue on the processor? Just a concern, I know you have been testing.

only time processor is at risk is when its under heavy strain like when you doctor and all apps are reloaded through backup profile, and if several of those apps are rather large like 3d games it could possibly fry the processor AT ANY SPEED 500 , or 550 , or 600 , or 720 , or 800 !! but as far as fatigue ... well no !

Here's my question, is it removable, with no traces left behind, if someone chooses to get rid of it? I mean, it's my understanding that it's a kernel replacement, but I'm hoping it'll be as easy to remove as any other ipk package.

its even easier to uninstall than it is to install . its just one line command to uninstall the patch , but to install you have to send the file first then you enter the line command to activate it

Very Exciting! Can't wait to stop thinking about getting a new phone lol (aka n1 or supersonic)... Never installed the past patches cuz 600/500/550 didn't sound appealing.. but now.. 800 LARGE! I'm in.

Great work, it is MUCH appreciated!

There were reported issues with early Pre's having some cpu issues that forced Palm to scale them back to 500. Do you see any potential problems with this patch being used on these early Pre's?
