(do i need to go on, or do people get what i'm doing?)

Hmmm 720 or 800 is the question .... i think when released I'm going to try the 720mhz for a few weeks then if feeling froggy jump to the 800 and see how it goes .. the OC the wife's Phone currently we're both @ 600mhz .

    you guys Rock

I go with the 720 patch . Its almost as fast as the 800 but you really only get a 1/2 sec. to 1 sec. decrease in opening apps . Lets say stock kernel open google maps in 25 sec. 720 will open in 10 or less. And 800 will open in 9 or less . There is a difference but the change from 720 to 800 is minimal compared with going from stock to 720 which is monumental to say the least

there is a hit on the battery but to me (who has a charger everywhere I go) its well worth it to just always be prepared with a charger or back up battery . And the hit is usually only on hard usage or long times in use. Which is when I plug into charger . Otherwise its minimal at best.

This patch is most likely going to be the deal breaker on whether or not I keep the Pre. The constant lag on this phone is more than annoying. Loading pics, videos, apps from the phones internal storage seems like it is at a crawl.

I love the theory behind the phone, the OS is great, however the hardware is lacking. The 1.4 update didn't do much for me but I`m hesitant to get rid of it just yet. Hoping for the deal breaker here....
