yes if you search for the first 720 800 thread it will say 1.3.5 on it but it has stats in that thread from people ,me included , that compares 500 to both of the new kernels. The 1.4 tests are near the rear of the thread.

newbie here - just curious, would running the WebOS Dr remove the 600mhz patch (and others as well)?

so 720 or 800? should i try 720 for a few weeks before going to 800?

    very excited about this patch!

This is amazing and has no stability issues. However, everyone needs to remember that long-term testing of CPU with overclocking has not been done. So your CPU *might* die after 6 months or 1 year of overclocking, or it might not. No one has any idea of the long term effects. Still, the way Palm Pres are currently made, if this patch makes it die after 6 months, is that really any different from what everyone's experienced with non-overclocked Pres? The number of people having to replace multiple Pres is so high, that 6 months is probably the average life anyways.

nope . It will not remove it but it will remove the patch script which in turn will make it very difficult to remove patch if you need to. So my answer is remove patch then doctor your phone then replace patch.

how is it you've had a Pre over a year?

Not to sound like I'm criticizing you but this has to be the 50th post I'v read this in does anyone know where this information came from? did palm say this or was it a very good roomer spread by another company?

BTW I love the work you guys are doing here, keep it up!

it was the scaling patch not the processor . I believe that anyways

Wait, I thought doing a WebOS Dr on your phone basically wipes the entire thing (not counting media storage space) and slaps the whole webOS image on top of it. If that's the case then it shouldn't matter what you've done to the kernel right? Or am I mistaken in what WebOS Dr does??
