Im trying to replace fstab in /etc, but all copy, remove, or move efforts results in

    Code:
cannot remove 'fstab': read-only file system

any idea how to get around this?

Edit: Solved, I just used WOSQI to move the replacement file to the dir and it overwrote it...

    mount -o remount,rw /

Make sure you mount -o remount,ro / when you are done.

And be careful, it's mounted read only for a reason!
