When sharing a URL via the browser, or newsroom, the phone sends using multipart/alternative with both a text/plain and a text/html part. That is proper behavior.

The problem, however, is that the text/plain part shows only the URL's title, and not the URL itself. That, uh, doesn't quite work for text based mail clients.

If somebody can fix this incorrect behavior until Palm gets around to it, it would be much appreciated . I'd even settle to stripping out the text/plain part and sending just text/html instead of multipart/alternative.

Here's an example of what I am talking about. Notice "View Full Article" isn't very helpful!:
