    I'm trying to make my application make the "bong-bong" notification sound that any other app does when popping up a banner. I'm not sure how to go about this and Palm's dev site doesn't seem to elaborate. Is it w/in the banner call itself, or do I need to make another call for playSoundNotification? And if so, what are the parameters I need to pass?

    Code:
    //do i need this call? If so, what are the values of soundclass/file/duration?
    Mojo.Controller.AppController.playSoundNotification(soundClass, soundFile, duration)

    Mojo.Controller.getAppController().showBanner("text",{source:'notification'});
    Thanks so much.

    Ok, Got it. Here's what needs to be done:

    Code:
    Mojo.Controller.getAppController().showBanner(
    				{
    					messageText: "testing",
    					soundClass: "alerts"
    				},
    				{source:'notification'}
    			);
