Exclamation *** Text Notifications Gone - PLZ HELP!!!

Hello friends,

The other day my message forwarding tweak stopped working, so I went back into WebOSQI and successfully uninstalled it.

After I re-installed it using Preware, everyhing works great, but my text notifications have stopped showing up...sound/vibrate and launcher notification.

I can still see new messages when I actually open the SMS app, there is just no notification that tells me they have arrived.

If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it. I have searched and found people with similar problems, but mine is JUST a notification issue.

1. SMS Tone Per Contact patch will not uninstall now.
2. Email and phone/VM alerts still working fine.

DONT WANT TO DOCTOR. Thanks!

JB

Is there any way to remove a single patch, without using EPR and removing all?

I think the problem happened when I installed the SMS Tone Per Contact, because this will not uninsall now. PLEASE HELP!

I need my notifications!

You could potentially try and run WebOSRepair Utility and restore all of the files listed in the following link. I don't know if it would work and ultimately it will still say the patch is installed so I don't know if that would help you. I honestly think the best and easiest bet is to just run EPR and start from scratch on the patches.

Just run EPR. It will ONLY remove the patches/tweaks. It's not going to erase anything else... Easiest way.
