Background: Kid is disabling GPS/Auto location on his phone so that I can't run my google maps tracking.

Question: How can I enable GPS/Auto Location via SSH?

    Thank you for any input.

A more efficient way would be to modify the GPS on/off screen to remove the option to turn it on and off.

I'm currently working on a patch for that as we speak now.

This patch can be installed with WebOS Quick Install and will appear in Preware within the next 24-48 hours.

It hides the GPS item in the Location Services menu. Make sure you set the designated GPS setting before installing. This makes it extremely hard to turn on/off the GPS setting. The only other way might be SSH or the GPS toggle app. The user can still uninstall the patch via Preware or Quick Install if they know how.

GPS still works as well if you have it ON before installing the patch. The ability to toggle it on and off is just removed.

EDIT: The command in SSH to enable GPS is
    Code:
    luna-send -n 1 palm://com.palm.location/setUseGps '{"useGps":true}' > /dev/null 2>&1
