Title says it all. It'd be nice to have an app that can backup contacts, calendar, etc + homebrew apps and databases/settings. Something that can be run from the Pre and backup to a folder in 'internal.' Then we can store the folder on our PC, storage card, email it (if not too large), etc etc. You get the idea. What do you guys think? I'd gladly pay $10 for an app like this, it is peace of mind and will save a TON of time after a visit from the Doc.

This is about the third request for this exact same thing ... this month 8^).

If you do a search for titles with the word "backup" you will find lots of discussion, conjecture, and maybe even a few solutions for this. If you're not already using Google (or Exchange) for your Contacts and Calendar you should do that immediately (if not sooner). There's no way to extract (or backup) the Contacts/Calendar if you're using the Palm Profile as your default account ... and a very easy way to do that if you're using Google.

I'm talking more along the lines of an app similar to Tealbackup or NVbackup on PalmOS. Not so much google and sync'ing solutions.
